THE OLDER DOLLS MAY HAVE ELASTIC OR OTHER MATERIALS HOLDING THINGS IN PLACE INSIDE THE BOX.  THESE TEND TO DETERIORATE WITH AGE SO SOME ITEMS MAY BE LOOSE INSIDE THE BOX. THESE IMPERFECTIONS ARE SOMETIMES DIFFICULT TO CAPTURE IN THE PHOTOS.  I ALWAYS WRAP THEM IN TISSUE WHEN I RECEIVE THEM TO PROTECT THE BOX.  I STORE THEM IN MY HOME IN CABINETS & PLASTIC BINS.   SHORT OF THE DOLL BOX BEING TOTALLY SMASHED IN TRANSIT, I CANNOT AFFORD TO PROCESS A RETURN FOR MINOR DAMAGE TO THE DOLL BOX SO PLEASE DO NOT BUY THE DOLL IF YOU CAN'T ABIDE BY THE SOLD AS IS NO RETURNS STIPULATION. PACKAGING:
I do my best to package fragile items well.  Additional packing (bubble wrap/peanuts/air bags) will be used for these items to help prevent damage during shipping.  Dolls coming in a Mattel shipper box will be wrapped in brown paper for mailing unless you request it be mailed in another box which will cost more for the weight of the box.
