Vintage Tea Cup Coalport Bone China Admiral espresso demitasse Teacup and Saucer made in England English Tea Party
Available is a tea cup and saucer set by Coalport by in the Admiral pattern. The back stamp is dated between 1926 and 1951. The gorgeous flowers on both the saucer and on the tea cup were hand painted. The gold gilding encompass the entire saucer and cup. Both the cup and saucer have a gentle embossed scalloping hand painted in gold as an accent. Additional accents of gold are a part of each, as well as the handle. All this gold makes the pieces elegant, and not overdone! The set looks as beautiful today as it did the day it was purchased! The gilding is all intact, there are no chips, cracks, scratching or blemishes.
The cup measures approximately 2 1/8" tall (to the top of the handle) and about 2 3/8" in diameter (at the mouth). The saucer measures about 4 ½" in diameter at the widest points.
