Vintage Sayford Co Foil Trivets - Set of 3

Description

Set of three Circa 1940s-50s Foil Hot Plates Trivets w/Horse Drawn Carriage Scenes. These were made to be used as trivets or protective pads on tables or other furniture to place a hot dish or pan without harming the furniture. The are made a piece of dense cardboard material with a foil or thin silvery metal top which has a 3-D design impressed into it. Tops are of a vintage Inn and carriage. All three have the same image, and on the top of the largest trivet in tiny letters reads "Sayford Co. Brooklyn". Size and measurements are as follows: largest is about 6-1/2" x 9-3/4", medium is about 6" x 8", and the smallest is about 6" x 6". All are in great vintage condition, showing wear commensurate with the age of the items.
