    Vintage Satsuma Tea Cups Set of Four - Peacocks & 24k Gold Accents.
    Vintage 1979 Satsuma Set of 4 cups.
    During the 1970s, Satsuma came out with this crackle glaze design so that the middle class could enjoy the beauty of their products — these tea cups were meant to be used as well as admired. These four cups appear to be in pristine condition. The cups measure a little over 3 inches tall, and have a diameter of 2 3/8 inches.
    The trim around the tops of the cups is a burnt orange color with a gold gild design. There are 24k gold accents in the peacock design and around the top of the cups. This set of four cups is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; it has a crackle finish which is part of the design and consistent over the cups.
