Vintage Antique Native American Indian Girl Doll Bisque Head Compo Body 6" Sweet

Description

Up for auction is a small, native American, girl doll with a bisque head and composition body. She has painted dark eyes and orange lips. Her hair is wiry black mohair. Her dress is golden yellow felt with fringe and trim. She has a paper headband and a feather in her hair and her shoes are painted yellow.

Size: 6"
Markings: She is marked on the back of her neck but I cannot read it without pulling off her wig.
Condition: The sienna coloring on this doll's face was not baked into the bisque head, but painted over the bisque. The paint has rubbed off in areas where the hair was originally glued down; on the sides of her face, under her chin and on the back of her neck. Her wig has some glue residue on it and her paper head band is torn in places. No chips, cracks, hairlines or odors. Paint on her body is in good shape. Minor dirt and stains on her outfit.
Doll stand is not included in this sale. The last photograph shows the other Native American dolls I have for sale in separate auctions but are not included in this auction.
