Good luck finding another one of these ready to hang on the wall and plug in! We believe this original AMF magic triangle bowling alley pin advisor sign was made in the '60s, although it does have a service sticker inside that's dated in the '70s. The front plastic panel is hand-painted! Not pictured (you can see the reflection off the wall in the last two pics) is a neon tube which lines the inside of the magic triangle. We believe this was used when the sign was raised and someone was working on it from the underneath. The neon tube is intact and does work and is wired up, but does not produce any discernible light from the front when displayed. Maybe in a pitch black situation you would see some of that light from the neon tube, but not under normal circumstances. In order to illuminate all of the low voltage bulbs at the same time, we added a 110V to 24V power adapter with built-in fan. Sign displays very well, but is far from perfect! We did touch up a few scratches with some red enamel paint. It is far from a perfect match. The sign measures about 66-in by 40-in overall and with the curved end panel on the left side, is about 18-in deep. Curved factory brackets in the back at the top allow us to hang this off of a 2x4 spaced and screwed to the wall, with small grooves cut into the 2x4 fit the brackets. It works out perfectly! FYI, if you might be in the market for more than one of these, we have two additional signs available as of this listing. 0 flat rate shipping is a minimum charge.
