VGC Vintage Ideal P-90 Toni Doll Honey Blonde Hair with Golden Eyes 14" Tall

Description

I'm selling this from my own private collection and  have had her restrung so she is nice and tight. She has high color in her cheeks.
She is marked On head "Ideal Doll/Made in USA," and on back "Ideal Doll/P-90."
The first picture shown of her without the dress is
a little bit deceiving because the light cast across her right cheek w
ould at first glance make it appear that she has a defect. Refer to the picture of her in the dress a
nd you'll see that there is no mark.
Her hair is of saran. Her
painted eyelashes below and her eyelashes above are all there. H
er eyes open and close easily and she's wearing original shoes and socks. I think the dress is probably original but the lace which was originally around t
he collar has deteriorated
and any labeling that might have been there is missing.

he Toni doll on the cover. She is Miss Curity in her nurse's outfit, a Toni doll
in one of her many forms.
Toni is pictured on page 191 of Modern Doll Collectors 5th series by Patsy Moyer.
She comes from a smoke-free home.

Just an additional note or two. The dolls head is made of hard plastic and the hair is not rooted, but rather a wig. I combed it out in the last picture and it curled around my fingers.
