    Description

This is a beautifully restored antique violin. There is no label or any other markings to identify the exact
provenance and age of the violin. The violin has a beautifully carved lion head scroll, which was typical for many baroque and early 18th century German violins. This one is particularly interesting: the eyes of the lion are studded with some kind of precious stones, I am not sure what kind exactly.  The fine tuner also looks like it is gold plated?  It is obvious, somebody really loved this violin. The violin is clearly very old. The baroque neck has been shimmed and converted some time in the distant past.
The violin has been completely restored recently and is structurally sound.
The only repair I can see is a 1" crack on top of the right F hole; it is completely solid.  There are a lot of touched up scuffs and scratches, but other than these the violin is  in excellent , ready to play condition.
This is a quality handcrafted instrument. It has one piece mildly flamed back and a spruce top. It has corner blocks and it is lined.
    The tone is amazingly good.
Dimensions are: body length 14" and width 8". Returns accepted within 14 days of purchase. Buyer pays for return shipping.
P.S. I need to explain some details concerning this account in an order to discourage scam buyers from making frivolous bids and offers, and at the same time reassure good decent buyers that they will be getting the item they purchased, exactly as described or their money back if not satisfied.
This is a new account with minimal feedback currently, but this is misleading, because I am continuing selling my husband's Great American Heritage violin collection which he has been doing on Ebay for over twenty years. Check (lurhon1999) for his feedback history. Bid with confidence, I
