    Description

    very old 4/4 violin. The label inside reads: "Rudolf Mostböck Musik Instrumenten Erzeuger Wien IX Sechsschimmelgasse".The length is 59,3cm/ 23 3/8inch. The body is 36cm (14 1/8 inch). There are several cracks at the front. Please see also the interesting back. One side is deeply flamed, the other side looks different, but it seems to be original like it is.  Instrument needs to be repaired, serviced , and cleaned. If you have any questions, please ask.
