Condition: Superb Old Antique full size Andreas Amati Labeled violin in Immediate Playing conditions. Stunning tiger flamed maple wood two piece back with matching ribs. fine to medium grained spruce top. Fine carved edges, elegant scroll, Amati designed sound holes. meticulously laid out purfling with a gold center and two outer thin black lines. Lovely contour! The inside The inside workmanship is fine too! It’s smooth, clean and polished with all four corners are fully blocked and reinforced by lining strips of wood. The violin has been restored with all cracks fully repaired! No Soundpost cracks.. Suitable for the professional or advanced player! Owned by a professional symphony player in 1970's and passed along to his heirs. Good Luck!!
