Description
Blade:Blade dating from the mid-19th century (1850) made in the Sheaf Works in Sheffield.
Blade width 6/8 (21 mm).
Half-Hollow profile, straight back, rounded edge, "Square" nose
State of the blade:
Good condition, some traces of old corrosion still visible, small trace of original machining.
Ready to shave (Excellent shave).
Tang:
Straight, curved hook.
Scale :
Polished Zebu horn, shiny finish, stopper: Steel and brass mosaic rivet.
Pivot and wedge pin:
Brass axle, stainless steel washers, internal Teflon washers on the pivot.
Spacer:
Buffalo bone.
Accessory :
Cowhide leather case (lambskin interior), molded to the shape of the razor and personalized with the logo of the razor brand.
