Snow SV200 violin 3/4 size.
The company's name, Snow, originates from the workshop owner's first name XuePing, which translates into Snow. XuePing was trained in China by the great violin making master, Quan Zheng. Quan Zheng studied in Cremona, Italy, thus XuePing's instruments are of the Italian style.
This attractive intermediate level instrument is made using quality Italian spruce for the top and fine maple for the back, ribs, and neck. The varnish has been rubbed by hand and tastefully antiqued. The result is a well balanced tone that is both sweet and clear.
Violin was briefly used by my daughter. She was in orchestra. COVID happened and it’s been sitting for a while now. Strings were also loosened while it was sitting. Slight small hairline crack below left side f hole. Looks as if it’s been repaired. Cant be seen in pictures. Doesn’t affect the sound. Left side zipper on case is broke off. Works as it should. There are a couple of nicks as pictured as well. Comes with a nice hard shell black case and 1 bow, as well as rosin a cleaning cloth and a shoulder pad.
