    Description

    Salvadore de Durro, ANTIQUE 4/4 VIOLIN, for RESTORATION/REPAIR.   This violin would need top removal to repair crack in back.  The back seam is unglued.  I've seen and heard many of these Salvadore violins selling for more than ,500. I believe this one was made in France, rather than Germany because of the scroll and corners. I was unable to  photograph the label with my cell phone, but the label reads Salvadore de Durro, B & J New York, sole importers. also, Special model of Antonius Stradivarius, Cremonensis Faciebat 1907
