Instrument comes with a case, rosin, and a cloth to clean the instrument. If you would like a bow, we can talk about a small extra price. Professional violin made in 1900 by unknown luthier. Plays very even across the strings from low G string to high on the E string; has a very clear and focused voice; and the tone carries through out large halls well. Personally used this instrument for 4 years to acquire undergraduate music performance degree. When looking at potential instruments for college, this instrument compared very well with instruments costing two to three times as much. Due to the fact that the luthier is unknown, it has a much lower price than its sound reflects. Instrument is in fine, playable condition with brand new Evah Pirazzi strings. Pegs and end pin have inlaid mother of pearl, which can be seen in the pictures above, original to the instrument. Button has embossed mark seen in photographs - origin unknown at this time, (looks like a "J" inside an "A", acting as initials). Instrument will come with Guarneri chin rest and de luxe Mirecourt bridge. All other accessories are ebony.
