    Description

    Nice and  old 4/4 violin. The label inside reads: "Celebre Vosgien".  and "1898"(Handwritten) The button at the back also reads 1898, but I dont know if the violin is really that old.    The length is 59cm/ 23 1/4inch. The body is 35,7cm (14 1/16 inch). The back was made out of 1 part. The purfling is not inlayed.The soundpost is ratteling inside. The case is damaged. There is a minor crack at the side, near the end button. (see photo) , but the instrument   needs to be serviced   and cleaned. If you have any questions, please ask.
