    In 1864, E. Jaccard merged with  A.S. Mermod.  Mermod & Jaccard were a huge success and opened satellite  locations in Paris, Vienna, London, Bermingham and Sheffield.
    In 1904, Mermod and Jaccard  designed the medals for the 1904 Olympics.  In 1917 they became part of  Scruggs, Vandervoort & Barney, but retained their identity as a separate  corporate body.
    Included are gold watches,  silver and silver plated silverware, solid gold vest chains, pendants, pins.  Diamond, pearl, emerald and ruby finger and wedding rings. Scarf pins, gold  sleeve links and buttons, dress pins, earrings....
