Lot 2 Vintage Italian Souvenir 9" and 9 1/2" Lela Creasioni and Torino Dolls
One doll has a Lela tag stapled to the dress -- the other doll has a stamped name on the slip front bottom.  The first line is hard to read, the second line says Torino and the 3rd line says Made In Italy.  The Lela doll tag says Creazioni Original Florence Lela Made in Italy.
The Lela doll is 9" tall.  Her forehead and chin area seems flocked with most worn off and the lower part of face not flocked.  She has beautiful blue side glancing eyes with painted lashes, nose dots, lips and blushed cheeks.  Her reddish blond hair is in braids that are affixed to her head with colored pins. Her dress seems in good condition with some age discoloring.  She has a cream netting type slip with cream pantaloons, the pantaloons have quite a bit of yellowing stains.  She has beige colored fabric legs with blue plastic shoes.  She is jointed at the shoulders with plastic arms
that can be moved
.  Her hips feel jointed but don't seem to have much range of movement.  The left plastic hand has a dark discoloring around the wrist area.
The Torino doll is Lenci like and 9 1/2" tall.  Her face seems flocked and most worn off.  She has a "surprised" face with painted blue eyes with lashes and red open mouth.  Her blond hair is styled in braids that are rounded in circles around her ear area.  There seems to be some age related wear underneath the circle braids where ears would be.  Her Italian dress seems to be in good condition, her apron has some wear around the waist area.  Her arms and hands are felt.  Her slip and pantaloons are cream netting.  She has nude fabric covered legs, cream socks and black shoes that don't seem to come off.
