Jianshui Zi-Tao teapot
. This teapot is handmade from Jianshui clay in Yunnan China.
It is for brewing tea in the
Gong-Fu style
.

This teapot will
thicken
your tea and add a more
full bodied mouth feel
. It will
reduce bitterness
and remove any unpleasant tastes from the water used. It will soften the tea, but will not mute the flavor. The
Minerality is smooth
with
no sharpness or  unpleasant mouth feel
. Holds heat well for teas that brew at a HOT temperature.
Recommended Teas:
Ripe Pu Erh
Wuyi Rock Oolongs
Hei Cha / Liu Bao
Aged White Tea
Phoenix Oolongs and other dark Oolongs
and perhaps Red/Black tea
This teapot was lightly used for a few months, I have thoroughly rinsed it with pure hot water several times to remove any seasoning from my tea. This pot is as good as new.
This teapot should NEVER be cleaned with any detergent or soap!
After use,  it should be rinsed with hot water and air-dried.
