Condition: Gorgeous Old violin in excellent conditions. Attractive dark red burgundy varnish covers the tiger flamed maple two piece back with matching ribs and scroll. bears an old label that reads: RC Chester 1915 Dundas, Minn USA. Admirable workmanship throughout from the accurate laid out purfling, attractive f-holes, well cut scroll to the well defined corners and edgework. The inside is clean and polished with all four corners blocked and reinforced by lining strips of wood. The violin measures 358mm from the back. The violin is in pristine condition with scratches here and there. The violin is being auctioned off as is to the highest bid regardless of price with NO Reserve! Good Luck!!
