The violin was made circa 1890-1900s possibly Switzerland, Hungarian? But definitely Central European. Suitable for the professional or soloist player seeking a everyday workhorse! With all the characteristics of a Master violin from the fluted f-holes, beautifully carved scroll, precise edgework, neatly laid out purfling, lovely contour & arching! Inside workmanship is clean and polished with all four corners blocked and reinforced by lining strips of wood.
