The unit is equipped with NM-32A, which has been professionally tested. All ports and console lines and cables are fully operational. Supports up to 16 total asynchronous console connections.
You will receive (

) CAB-OCTAL-ASYNC cables with this router. There are 8 asynchronous connections per cable, allowing a total of 16 console connections. The cable length is approximately 1 meter (about 3 feet). The octal cables are brand new, but may be removed from the original packaging in order to test them with the router. This ensures the equipment you receive will be fully operational.
Great addition for a home lab, or environment requiring many console connections. Reconfigure or troubleshoot your network remotely without having to move a console cable between devices. Startup-configuration is preloaded with commands necessary to use the NM-32A. These commands can be easily modified to fit the needs of your environment.
