    Description

    Beautiful, old and interesting violin with a nicely flamed back. I guess, it is a 7/8 violin. The label reads: "Fredo Curtius 139 Gotha 1969" As there is a "FC" branding inside and at the back, I have no doubt that the violin is original by this German master.  The length of the body is 13 7/8inch / 35,2cm. Overall length 22 3/4(58cm) No cracks, but there are some scratches at the furnish of the front and back. (see photos) .  Instrument needs to be serviced and cleaned ! .
