Bahia Brazilian Brown All Felt Cloth Lady Doll 20" Carmen Miranda Style

Description

This is a 1920s - 30s all Cloth, handmade doll from Brazil and considering her age, she is in very nice condition. She has a wicker basket on her head with felt fruit and flowers.  Her mask face is felt cloth with painted features.
Her arms and legs are felt and her muslin body is all covered but I can see a tiny bit.
Her eyes show rubs. Her brows, lashes and lips are still vivid.  Her wig has a silky feel to it and is covered by a satiny headscarf which does not come off. Her blouse is satiny with felt trim.
She has a shoulder sash trimmed with wool yarn.
She has a full felt skirt trimmed with lots of felt appliques and her satiny apron is trimmed with felt. Her underpants are an organdy and there is a cloth tag that might be the owner's name.
She has a tax sticker that reads Brazil.
Her high heel shoes are felt trimmed with felt flowers.    Her original tag is missing and there are remnants of another tag. She definitely has the look of a Joao Perotti doll but without her original tag, I cannot say for sure. She shows some age with some wear and fading.
