This is an antique
Wade & Butcher
straight razor
with a
13/16"
wide
(.79" - .83")
blade
and black celluloid scales

The razor's tang is marked, "
Manufactured by Wade & Butcher, Sheffield," but the engraving is worn toward the center of the tang (see pictures)

The blade
shows some evidence of hone wear. T
here are no nicks in the cutting edge, and it's free of any cracks.
The blade has a 3 inch cutting edge and seems to be the original full length. The blade is mostly free of surface rust and pitting. The scales aren’t warped and they aren't cracked
. The blade fits loosely between the scales.
Insurance is required on all shipments and will be charged with a handling fee and included in the shipping quote. Handling fee reflects Ebay’s change in policy where they now charge the seller a 10% commission on the shipping costs.
