    Description

    Up for auction from a recent estate sale is an antique violin, as shown. The violin measures 23 3/4" in length and measures just over 8" across at it's widest area. I know very little about violins and musical instruments in general but will try to describe as best I can. The fingerboard is currently loose (see last attached photo) from the instrument. There is a couple small chips off the edges on the front side. I do not see where the violin has been repaired or glued anywhere. There is a label on the inside that says: A.F. Schmaedeke Feb 1902. The name could actually be: A.F. Schmaedehe, not sure. Selling the violin "as is", in need of restoration or repair. Exact shipping charge based on your address.
