Antique Vintage Cast Iron Trivet for Small Irons Working Tools

This is a guaranteed old trivet.
This would have been used to hold the smaller size irons that were used occasionally.
The slot on the one end is where the stove lid lifter would hook to move the trivet when it was hot.
One of the signs of the age and use of the trivet is the higher spots on the bottom of the legs have gotten a smooth polished look from having been slide around back when it was used.
There is no damage, no cracks or chips, just wear from use and age.
It measures 4 1/8 inches long, 2 ¼ inches wide and ½ inches high.
