    Antique Tea Cosy with Hand Crocheted Sunbonnet Sue. Who knows? It is my guess that this tea cosy was made by a member of my father's family sometime during the Great Depression. It is sound, the front is beautiful and the hand crocheted Sunbonnet Sue is adorable. The crocheted figure is perfect in condition. The tea cosy measures 10 x 11.5 inches. It is machine quilted with batting and lining. Please note that the back is heavily stained by what is probably tea. I don't know - I didn't get to be "mother" when this tea cosy was actually in use. Comes to you from a non-smoking home with no funky food or laundry smells.
