    Antique Late 1800's Hand Forged Coal Cast Iron Flat Iron Press Portugal
    Measurements : 9 " L x 4 " W x  4 1/2 " H x 8 1/4 " H to top of Handle
    Has a Rooster for the latching mechanism.
    Has a red wooden handle.
    Inside has a cast iron grate for holding the coal.
    Appears to have been used for display purposes where someone added green felt to bottom for furniture protection which can be removed.
    Solid heavy piece that weighs close to 7 lbs.
    I do not polish my brass, copper, or silver items because most buyers prefer them
    with their natural aged patina look.
