1951 Brunette Toni 16" Doll #P-91 w/ Toni Wave Kit & Original Box RARE! Doll is in Excellent Condition, she shows no signs of ever being played with. Her thick, shiny brunette hair still has netting and bobby pins holding it in place. Her dress is crisp and clean with the Toni Doll tag sewn on. She is stamped Ideal Doll P-91 on her back. Comes with extra pair of pink shoes and socks, pink hair bow, card with brush, comb and curlers. Also includes in box Toni Play Wave Kit that has bottle of Toni Play Wave Lotion, Box of Spin Curlers, tube of Toni Creme Shampoo, package of End Tissues & Instruction Sheet. Toni Doll has original box that is Dated 1951, box is in very rough condition. Doll & accessories were wrapped in a pink baby blanket inside the box that has done a wonderful job protecting and preserving them in such pristine condition. From a clean and smoke free estate home.
Toni’s stunning facial features is the first thing you notice about her, she has blushing cheeks, red lips and bright blue sleepy eyes that open and closely easily, with brush lashes and painted lower lashes. She has thick brunette hair with bangs, lots of fat curls in the back and the sides pulled back with hairpins and netting. This doll was obviously treasured, adored and never played with.
She wears her original embossed print dress with attached slip that looks bright and minty. The dress has a pale pink bodice with lace trim and two buttons, a gold tone belt, and skirt is teal with gold embossed flower pattern and has an attached muslin skirt. It is in clean, minty fresh crisp condition. Under her dress she wears original muslin panties, white socks and shoes that appear to have been brown but have started to turn white over time they are marked Ideal shoes.
She is an adorable Toni doll to add to any collection, and would be hard to find one in nicer condition.
