1949 Vintage IDEAL 21" TONI Brunette Doll
in Waffle Cotton Tagged Dress
Doll is marked "
P 93 IDEAL DOLL Made in the U.S.A.
" on the back of her neck and

" on her back.
Doll stands 21 inches tall.  She has a dress tagged "
Genuine Toni Doll with Nylon Wig
." Tag is somewhat frayed.
She is a strung doll.
She wears a red and yellow/cream colored waffle cotton dress with a faux jacket and attached cotton lace trimmed slip.
Her undies are handmade cotton replacements.  She seems to have replacement white socks and white side knob shoes.
You can see images of different variations of this waffle cotton dress with its faux jacket on Toni dolls on pages 79 & 88  in the book, "Collector's Guide to Ideal Dolls Identification & Values 2nd Edition" by Judith Izen.
This lovely Toni doll has sleep eyes that open and close properly.  See images for condition of facial features.
Dress and doll show some wear from age or play.
I have photographed her just as I found her.  Her history of repair or past environments is unknown.
I have not noticed offensive odors.
My home is smoke free, but I do not know the doll's previous home environment.  She has been in my home for a brief stay only.
** Item is NOT mint. I have tried to photograph her from all sides with her wardrobe and without.  I'm only allowed 12 photos on Ebay.

I have mentioned flaws that I have noticed but I'm not an expert so there may be others.  Ask questions about what's important to you that I did not show in photos or mention in the description.  I will answer if I can. I don't guarantee that I will know but I try.

SHIPPING
Doll is packaged very carefully.  She is wrapped in tissue paper before and then bubble wrap.  Bubble wrap will be lightly sealed with scotch tape so that you do NOT have to use scissors to unwrap the doll. I then use packing peanuts around the doll to cushion her within the box.
The buyer's name MUST be the name on the shipping label.  -
(I do not do
"in care of" type of labels using
C/O or CO).  If a name appears on the address different than the name of the buyer, I WILL CANCEL the order.
