    This listing is for the original Legal Document dated 1785, 8"x10",  New York, where Abraham Lott, has signed recognizance bond for John Welch to appear in court and tell what he knows and in the meantime keep the peace with the People of New York...signed Abraham Lott at bottom.
    Internet research shows:  Abraham P. Lott( 1722-1794) was Colonel of the 3rd New York City Regiment, 1775; Delegate to the 3rd and 4th Provincial Congresses; Member of the State Assembly 1777-83; and Alderman of the City 1784. Cornelia Rapalje was named in her father’s unrecorded will of 4 Sep 1745 as the wife of Abraham Lott. Abraham P. Lott of New York executed his will on 8 Apr 1793. .
