    Description

    We are presenting a wonderful collection of black souvenir and international dolls in an effort to pare down my huge personal collection.  The two tall cloth dolls are from South Africa and are 11-1/2” tall with wire armature, embroidered facial features with standing bases.  They are dressed in regional fabrics and jewelry is gold braid.  The girl from Dominican Republic is wax with gorgeous hand-painted facial features, arms and legs are jointed but she is in bent leg sitting position.  The other dolls are made of hard plastic or celluloid; some with caracul hair.  We have dolls from Jamaica, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Martinique (this doll has missing arms), Haiti, Bahamas and a Maori from Australia with tattoo face.
